The Differentiated Instructional Guide (DIG) is an instructional companion to the course of study. The DIG assists teachers in tailoring instruction to meet the individual needs of all students, by finding strengths and weaknesses beginning with prior knowledge, moving forward to learning the objectives to master the standard. Differentiated instruction, as a framework, allows teachers to implement a variety of strategies to maximize student growth and individual success.
