Early in her educational training, Kelly witnessed firsthand the power of excellent teachers, strong schools, and caring hearts—and the life-changing opportunities they provide for students. That same opportunity is what she desires for every child in Alabama, every single day!
A proud Oklahoman and alumna of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kelly earned her B.A. in Education before moving to Alabama as an area sales representative for an international company. It was there that she first fell in love with Jesus—and then with her husband, Arnold.
After raising their children, Kelly returned to the professional world as the Admissions Director at Briarwood Christian School. In that role, she seamlessly combined her background in education, her sales experience, and her natural gift for building relationships.
Currently, Kelly serves as the Senior Adult Ministry Director at Meadow Brook Baptist Church, where she continues to live out her passion for connecting with others and serving her community.
She and Arnold are deeply grateful for their three grown children, their beloved spouses, and their lively crew of thirteen grandchildren. They remain active and involved in both family life and community service. Arnold, a commercial realtor, currently serves in the Alabama House of Representatives.
