Specialized Treatment Center. A Specialized Treatment Center (STC) provides various levels of specialized services to students who demonstrate- needs not typically addressed in a regular educational setting. These state-endorsed centers receives appropriations from the Education Trust Fund to provide educational services to students in grades K-12.

In an effort to update our procedures, the Alabama State Department of Education would like to introduce those interested in obtaining the education endorsement for their specialized treatment center to an online platform for the application process that should improve our communication and enable us to archive relevant information.
